EVENT ORGANISATION CONSULTANCY
Boldly Go provide an events organisation consultancy service to organisations looking to develop and produce high quality, inspiring and motivating events - both small and large scale.
We work on all aspects of the event from creating the idea to assistance with marketing, relationship building and on the day production of the event. Organisations can come to us with their budget and their goals for the event and we will work together to make it happen.
Originality and leaving participant with something invaluable are key aims of any event of ours and we aim to assist any organisation in developing this through their events.

PERFORMANCE CONSULTANCY
Years of performance in top end Olympic sport has left me with a vast amount of engrained lessons on performance. Sometimes performance comes when you least expect it, other times it never comes when you think you have 100% belief and confidence in yourself and feel more than ready. The power of the mind, and its effect on performance, attitudes, risk taking, overcoming fear, letting go, planning, trusting colleagues and team mates, overcoming low patches, maximising high periods and dealing with stress and peaking at the right time are all key elements in the life of any top sportsman - which mirrors the working environment in today's world.
My Olympic and World Championship results - peppered with major success, major "failures", surprising wins and defeats - all have a wealth of lessons, information and invaluable experiences attached to them which I share in a constructive way with business executives and performance related teams.
In addition, my experience in the Atlantic Rowing Challenge, where myself and rowing colleague Ciaran Lewis attempted to row the Atlantic Ocean in a 23ft boat, left with me with experiences of hardship and survival that have completely changed my view on the world. After a storm which saw us capsized in a 10 meter swell, we were chucked into the ocean not long before nightfall with our boat destroyed. We had to survive in a liferaft until we were rescued by a LNG tanker in the middle of the night in a force 8 storm, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
This experience, at the time, was a nightmare to end all nightmares. However, I now recognise it as a gift and one that I want to share with as many people as possible.
TEAM BUILDING
Smaller events and team building days are also organised, working with Olympic level athletes to deliver exceptional learning and rewarding days of activity, taking in one or a combination of sports such as rowing, mountain biking, kayaking and mountaineering. Rather than providing a one day fits all approach to team building, we like to fit individuals in to the activity and get the most out of whatever level they reach. The days can be tailored to whatever the organisation wants to achieve. The experience can also be linked with motivational and developmental lectures and workshops by leading practicioners in business development and individual well being.
